Hi and welcome! My name is Susan and I’m Keto Girl Running. I’m 37 years old, from NYC, and I love to run while eating a ketogenic (keto) diet.

I created this blog to document my journey training for the 2018 NYC Marathon that will take place November 4th, 2018.

I plan on following Jeff Galloway’s 32 Week Marathon Training Program starting on April 10th, 2018.

Training for a Marathon while eating a Keto Diet is much different than eating a Standard American Diet (S.A.D.), which means I’ll be testing out different methods of pre-race/intra-race fueling.

Welcome to Keto Girl Running

Hi and welcome! I’m Susan and I’m Keto Girl Running. I’m a 37 year old girl from NYC who loves to run, while eating a ketogenic (keto) diet.

I started my running journey six year ago when one day, I decided to put on a pair of sneakers and go out the door for a run.

I ran down the block in front of my house and the muscles in my legs were so weak, I couldn’t go for longer than 15 seconds.

I perservered though. By following the Couch to 5k (C25K) Running plan, I was able to gain the strength and endurance to run for 30 minutes nonstop, pain free.

The rest, is history.
